The Cleaning Diary

Cleaning is perhaps one of the most boring tasks out there. However, as I now finally have a break from work, I can begin this process. Tackling the mess that is my life – and the state of most of my rooms or items – I have created a small diary to help me. This tracker, which I’m going to call the Cleaning Diary, was designed quickly to help me try and figure out my life. The mess has accumulated over the months, becoming a little overwhelming to even think about. It isn’t dirty, per se.

But rather than cleaning, I took the approach of “stuffing everything into a cupboard so you don’t have to look or deal with it”. This means I have bags, cupboards, drawers or boxes full of miscellaneous items. Paperwork is unsorted and everywhere. However, there is a break ahead of me, which is a good time to start tackling some of that mess.

My Christmas Planner

Earlier in Blogmas, I spoke about ways to get organised.  One idea was to make your own planner this Christmas, which is what I decided to do.  I added some pages to my planner, inspired from the Mrs Brimble’s Jingle and Mingle craft afternoon.  I thought I would share a few of those pages with you now, as I haven’t before!  It’s definitely still a work-in-progress.  There’s a few things I want to add, which I’ll add as I go along.  However, let’s show you what’s in there right now.  I haven’t included photos of every page, as I want to keep some things hidden (for example gift ideas!).  But it gives you the general gist of what it currently looks like!

Getting Organised this Christmas

I can’t believe it’s December already, I definitely am not ready for Christmas… are you?  We’re only a few weeks away!  It’s prime time to get organised for Christmas – otherwise nothing will be done!  I’ve brought the odd thing or two, almost got all of the ideas for gifts sorted.  But if you’re like me, you may also be really behind with this year’s Christmas planning!  I did a bit of a search to find some products to inspire me to get organised.  More importantly, organised quickly – as there isn’t much time left.  I found a few products that I wanted to share today and came up with three different options for you to get into your Christmas planning.  Let me know if you find any of them useful too.

Busy B Diary 2018

Busy B Diary 2018, Page Markers and PensIt’s never too early to plan ahead and pick out what stationery you could use in advance.  As it’s November, it’s a great time to start looking around for your 2018 diary.  I’m super excited to say that I think I’ve found the perfect one for me to carry on the go!  The Busy B Diary 2018 range has been released!  More than that, however, they are functional and oh so clever!

I am even more excited today because this is actually the first product I have received as a new Brand Ambassador for Busy B!  I am thrilled with this role as this is a company I adore.  I’ve previously featured some of their products on the blog, such as their fantastic Birthday Card Book or Address Book.  Honestly, I think I’m in love with all of their products so this is a perfect role for me.

Today we are looking at the Busy B Busy Life Diary from the “Contemporary” collection.  They also have a Busy Life diary from the “Pretty” collection, which features a lovely floral pattern.  Both of them are the same on the inside but have a different appearance. Busy B Birthday Card Book

Busy B Birthday Card Book, featuring the Address Book too

Today’s post is a review of a product I’ve been eyeing up for a while but have only recently got my hands on: the Busy B Birthday Card Book.  This book was designed to help you remember your loved ones’ birthdays, helping you to plan ahead.  It’s a one time investment as it’s got a perceptual calendar.  This means, you don’t have to worry about getting a new one every year or remembering all of the dates from the top of your head whenever you get a new diary.
