Erin Condren Life Planner 2016

Erin Condren LifePlanner 2016This week something happened that most of the planner community will have heard about: the Erin Condren launch!  EC launched their 2017 life planners and the internet pretty much crashed…  Yeah that’s right, their launch crashed the internet.  Seriously.

My Facebook feed was full of talk about it.  Planner groups on Facebook would have tons of daily posts about it (they are still happening!).

So, I think it’s only fair that I dedicate this week’s post to Erin Condren and the beautiful community they have helped to build.  Now I couldn’t get all of this to fit in one post, as it would be too long to encompass all of this amazing into one… so I’m splitting it into two parts. Today is part one of the two part series.  This will be a quick flip through my 2016 EC life planner and initial thoughts from it…

I also have a discount for you later in the post so stayed tuned! Continue reading “Erin Condren Life Planner 2016”

National Stationery Week – Handmade Day

Foil Inspirational Flag StickersDay 6 of National Stationery Week is here and it’s all about handmade goodies!  I’m a huge fan of crafts and handmade goodies – in particular, I’m trying to dedicate more time to making cards to send to people.  As I get around to creating more, I’ll be sharing these creations with you – in particular on my Instagram channel, so follow that if you’re interested to see more.

However, for now, I wanted to give you a quick update on something that I’m really excited about.  I have mentioned this a few times in passing or hints but I thought it’s about time to make a quick announcement…  I’m working really hard on opening up an online shop!  I’m currently creating designs for the items I plan to stock and trialling them but it will be an Etsy Store for foiled goodies.  Foil Today MarkersStarting with stickers, I’ll go into various other planner accessories and soon cards too.  I have some designs ready for listing and am definitely working to get more up and ready.  The main delay right now is that I have had to send back some of the equipment I wanted to use to get it fixed and the company hasn’t done anything about it in weeks!!  Incredibly frustrating, yes, but it’s given me some more time to create some goodies and focus on my blog so it’s all good in the end right?

I would love to hear what you think of these samples and what you would like to see more of!  If you have any suggestions or ideas then please do let me know.  You can follow my instagram to see more sneak peeks as they are ready and some examples of them in use.  I really love creating these goodies so I am happy that I now get to share them with you.

Is there anything that you’ve handmade today?  I would love to see what you make!

If you have a blog or instagram account, which you’ve been creating and adding things on then please do send the links my way!  I’m really excited to see what everyone has created or plans to create.  Thank you!

National Stationery Week – World Stationery Day ft. Kikki.K

NSW 2013 with date and website and partners (no website)World Stationery Day… An international day of Stationery!  I cannot wait to see what everyone gets up to today or talks about, there’s so many different ideas and concepts.  I actually had a bunch of different ideas, including showcasing some of the stationery goodies that I have brought on my travels across the world.  However, there was a little too much for one post so I decided I’ll share it in multiple posts at another time.  For today, I wanted to take a moment to talk about an amazing company that I adore.  One with a fantastic international presence – so perfect for the the ‘world’ part of this – and amazing customer service.  I was fortunate enough to go to an event on Monday night (if you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about here) at the stores and meet the founder of the company!

National Stationery Week – Get Organised Day

PlannersGet organised day?  That can only mean one thing in my books – planning day!  This is clearly one of my favourite themes simply because it means I get to include pictures of the planners that I love for no other reason than to share them with you, because I love them.  Planners are an essential part of how I organise my life.  I have previously shared how I used 3 different planners on a regular basis.  I am currently changing everything up again so I will be sure to share this with you once I have the new set up.

If you’re new to planning or don’t use one – please consider it!  Planning has really helped me to figure out my dreams, goals and to start reaching them.  Without it, I would be lost and I certainly would not have achieved all of the things that I have achieved today.  I love seeing my goals getting ticked off and my dreams coming closer – and I would absolutely love to see the same for you.

So let’s talk about planners today and my thoughts on how to get organised!  Now there’s tons of ways to use your planners – I think I once made a list that was too long to fit on a single page… Whoops!  But these are a few of my favourite ways to get organised… Continue reading “National Stationery Week – Get Organised Day”

6 month anniversary and update

6 month anniversary

Hi everyone!  I’m so thrilled to say that last Monday, on the 16th of November 2015, this blog turned 6 months old and I wanted to share this happy moment with you all!  Quite honestly, it seems like I just passed the three month mark but somehow, these past few months have really flown by.  Last time, I created a few social media accounts – such as my Facebook Page and a new Instagram account specifically for my blog.  Now that we’re at the 6 month stage, I wanted to do a quick update on what I’ve gotten up to in these past three months – as well as use this opportunity to talk about an upcoming giveaway that I’m really excited to do!
