Christmas is not too far away now! At this point, if you have not already purchased or made cards for people, it can sometimes get a bit hectic trying to find some. Luckily, if you have a printer at home then you pretty much already have everything you need at home! I found a few printable christmas cards that I wanted to share with you today, in case you needed to whip up a last minute card.
I am really excited about today’s post. It combines two things I adore: cardmaking and Harry Potter. I have used a few products from some of my favourite companies too, which just makes the whole thing even more fun. These cards are relatively easy to make. However, some of these products might be hard to source so you may have to get a little creative if you wanted to create your own. With the same products, I made a small variety of different cards. I really wanted to try and find a few different ways to do this, so the process was not repetitive. So, without further ado, for the fifteen day of Blogmas, let me present to you my Harry Potter Christmas Cards!
I know, I know, it’s not December yet. But if you make your cards by hand, you need to start before then. It takes me months to create enough Christmas cards in time to send by the last posting dates. Not anymore though – not with the Christmas Craft Bundle from Design Bundles. They kindly sent me the The Christmas Craft Bundle to play with and I am already in love.
Ideally, you require a papercutting machine of some sort but quite a few of their designs can be used without one, in all honesty. I used the Silhouette Cameo to create the papercuts in this blog post.
Meeting someone for Christmas and you’ve forgotten to get them a Christmas card? If you’re in a last minute rush and can’t get to the shops, why not print one off? If you have a colour printer and some card at home then this is probably the easiest way to get Christmas Cards instantly. These Printable Christmas Cards are really cost effective too. You can purchase your favourite designs and then print off as many as you want! So you can continue to use it in future years too!
Yesterday I mentioned how I’ve been bitten by the calligraphy bug and pointed out a few of my favourite gifts for people. If you didn’t read it, you can check it out here. I didn’t mention one product, however, that I’ve really started to enjoy using and I wanted to talk a little about that today. It’s the Manuscript Italic & Poster Set. I challenged myself to try and make some handmade cards featuring Manuscript calligraphy products and this one jumped out at me. It’s so perfect – and I’m really excited about today’s post.
