The other day I mentioned that I am taking part in December Daily and how I prepared for it. Since then, I have made a few pages for the album and I wanted to share three of them with you. These are all really easy to replicate for any album, which is why I chose them. So without further ado, let’s just jump right in.
Christmas is not too far away now! At this point, if you have not already purchased or made cards for people, it can sometimes get a bit hectic trying to find some. Luckily, if you have a printer at home then you pretty much already have everything you need at home! I found a few printable christmas cards that I wanted to share with you today, in case you needed to whip up a last minute card.
Christmas is all about giving. I know the season is hectic for everyone and there’s always a last minute rush to get things done in time for the break – if you’re lucky enough to have one! However, I wanted to share a few charity appeals and local drives with you. There’s never a wrong time to think of others and I think that’s even more the case during Christmas. It should be a joyful time for everyone but sometimes, it’s not. So here are a few ways to help others in need this Christmas. Your festive random acts of kindness through letter writing, if you will.
Sad news came into my email inbox today at around 7pm. One of my favourite stamp companies is closing down. I was ready to spend an evening writing a very festive blog post. However, this now takes priority. Yesterday, I spoke about Sweet Stamp Shop briefly. It’s an amazing business that has been around for some years now. I have loved it since 2015, when I placed my very first order.
I have heard the term ‘December Daily’ being floated around the Internet for some years now but I have never really gotten involved in it. This year, I thought I would change that. I started out by figuring out exactly what it is and doing some research into what others have done in previous years. If you want to lose many many hours staring at beautiful pictures or watching videos, just search for the term on Pinterest, Instagram or YouTube. This project is a mix of journalling and scrapbooking. You can focus on either option or do a mix of both, as you see fit.
