Blogmas Day 12

Getting Organised this Christmas

I can’t believe it’s December already, I definitely am not ready for Christmas… are you?  We’re only a few weeks away!  It’s prime time to get organised for Christmas – otherwise nothing will be done!  I’ve brought the odd thing or two, almost got all of the ideas for gifts sorted.  But if you’re like me, you may also be really behind with this year’s Christmas planning!  I did a bit of a search to find some products to inspire me to get organised.  More importantly, organised quickly – as there isn’t much time left.  I found a few products that I wanted to share today and came up with three different options for you to get into your Christmas planning.  Let me know if you find any of them useful too.

Busy B Diary 2018

Busy B Diary 2018, Page Markers and PensIt’s never too early to plan ahead and pick out what stationery you could use in advance.  As it’s November, it’s a great time to start looking around for your 2018 diary.  I’m super excited to say that I think I’ve found the perfect one for me to carry on the go!  The Busy B Diary 2018 range has been released!  More than that, however, they are functional and oh so clever!

I am even more excited today because this is actually the first product I have received as a new Brand Ambassador for Busy B!  I am thrilled with this role as this is a company I adore.  I’ve previously featured some of their products on the blog, such as their fantastic Birthday Card Book or Address Book.  Honestly, I think I’m in love with all of their products so this is a perfect role for me.

Today we are looking at the Busy B Busy Life Diary from the “Contemporary” collection.  They also have a Busy Life diary from the “Pretty” collection, which features a lovely floral pattern.  Both of them are the same on the inside but have a different appearance. Erin Condren Life Planner 2017

EC Life Planner 2017 - 4In honour of the Erin Condren launch of the new 2017 life planners, I have dedicated two posts to it (yes, TWO posts in ONE day?! Say whaaaat? I know, very unusual for me… but it was just way too long for one post).  You can find part one over here.  If you are new to EC life planners, I would recommend you pop over to part one as that will give you a good overview of what the life planner is and some photos of the inside.

Here, I am going to talk more about the new features and what I love (or don’t love) about them!  So I am assuming you’ve read the first post or already know about Erin Condren life planners… Continue reading “Erin Condren Life Planner 2017”

Erin Condren Life Planner 2016

Erin Condren LifePlanner 2016This week something happened that most of the planner community will have heard about: the Erin Condren launch!  EC launched their 2017 life planners and the internet pretty much crashed…  Yeah that’s right, their launch crashed the internet.  Seriously.

My Facebook feed was full of talk about it.  Planner groups on Facebook would have tons of daily posts about it (they are still happening!).

So, I think it’s only fair that I dedicate this week’s post to Erin Condren and the beautiful community they have helped to build.  Now I couldn’t get all of this to fit in one post, as it would be too long to encompass all of this amazing into one… so I’m splitting it into two parts. Today is part one of the two part series.  This will be a quick flip through my 2016 EC life planner and initial thoughts from it…

I also have a discount for you later in the post so stayed tuned! Continue reading “Erin Condren Life Planner 2016”

National Stationery Week – Handmade Day

Foil Inspirational Flag StickersDay 6 of National Stationery Week is here and it’s all about handmade goodies!  I’m a huge fan of crafts and handmade goodies – in particular, I’m trying to dedicate more time to making cards to send to people.  As I get around to creating more, I’ll be sharing these creations with you – in particular on my Instagram channel, so follow that if you’re interested to see more.

However, for now, I wanted to give you a quick update on something that I’m really excited about.  I have mentioned this a few times in passing or hints but I thought it’s about time to make a quick announcement…  I’m working really hard on opening up an online shop!  I’m currently creating designs for the items I plan to stock and trialling them but it will be an Etsy Store for foiled goodies.  Foil Today MarkersStarting with stickers, I’ll go into various other planner accessories and soon cards too.  I have some designs ready for listing and am definitely working to get more up and ready.  The main delay right now is that I have had to send back some of the equipment I wanted to use to get it fixed and the company hasn’t done anything about it in weeks!!  Incredibly frustrating, yes, but it’s given me some more time to create some goodies and focus on my blog so it’s all good in the end right?

I would love to hear what you think of these samples and what you would like to see more of!  If you have any suggestions or ideas then please do let me know.  You can follow my instagram to see more sneak peeks as they are ready and some examples of them in use.  I really love creating these goodies so I am happy that I now get to share them with you.

Is there anything that you’ve handmade today?  I would love to see what you make!

If you have a blog or instagram account, which you’ve been creating and adding things on then please do send the links my way!  I’m really excited to see what everyone has created or plans to create.  Thank you!

National Stationery Week – World Stationery Day ft. Kikki.K

NSW 2013 with date and website and partners (no website)World Stationery Day… An international day of Stationery!  I cannot wait to see what everyone gets up to today or talks about, there’s so many different ideas and concepts.  I actually had a bunch of different ideas, including showcasing some of the stationery goodies that I have brought on my travels across the world.  However, there was a little too much for one post so I decided I’ll share it in multiple posts at another time.  For today, I wanted to take a moment to talk about an amazing company that I adore.  One with a fantastic international presence – so perfect for the the ‘world’ part of this – and amazing customer service.  I was fortunate enough to go to an event on Monday night (if you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about here) at the stores and meet the founder of the company!

National Stationery Week – Get Organised Day

PlannersGet organised day?  That can only mean one thing in my books – planning day!  This is clearly one of my favourite themes simply because it means I get to include pictures of the planners that I love for no other reason than to share them with you, because I love them.  Planners are an essential part of how I organise my life.  I have previously shared how I used 3 different planners on a regular basis.  I am currently changing everything up again so I will be sure to share this with you once I have the new set up.

If you’re new to planning or don’t use one – please consider it!  Planning has really helped me to figure out my dreams, goals and to start reaching them.  Without it, I would be lost and I certainly would not have achieved all of the things that I have achieved today.  I love seeing my goals getting ticked off and my dreams coming closer – and I would absolutely love to see the same for you.

So let’s talk about planners today and my thoughts on how to get organised!  Now there’s tons of ways to use your planners – I think I once made a list that was too long to fit on a single page… Whoops!  But these are a few of my favourite ways to get organised… Continue reading “National Stationery Week – Get Organised Day”

6 month anniversary and update

6 month anniversary

Hi everyone!  I’m so thrilled to say that last Monday, on the 16th of November 2015, this blog turned 6 months old and I wanted to share this happy moment with you all!  Quite honestly, it seems like I just passed the three month mark but somehow, these past few months have really flown by.  Last time, I created a few social media accounts – such as my Facebook Page and a new Instagram account specifically for my blog.  Now that we’re at the 6 month stage, I wanted to do a quick update on what I’ve gotten up to in these past three months – as well as use this opportunity to talk about an upcoming giveaway that I’m really excited to do!

Blogmas Day 12

It’s almost Halloween!

Halloween Spread (2)When I was a kid, my neighbours and I would dress up and go around the neighbourhood trick-or-treating.  Halloween has never been really big in the UK but we always loved to celebrate it.  For whatever reason, it seems to have died down now and I rarely see anyone celebrate it here.  But it’s a great holiday that I remember loving when I was younger so I thought it was worth talking about.  For those who don’t know, it’s coming up this Saturday so I thought I’d dedicate a quick post to it today – as next week’s post is probably way too late!  Hopefully something will inspire you to celebrate Halloween in your own little way, whichever country you’re in!  So here’s to Halloween, let’s make it a scary one (or perhaps one filled with lots of candy and cuteness). Unboxing of the Filofax Gold Saffiano

Saffiano Personal Gold FilofaxFilofax released their special edition Gold Saffiano earlier this month.  I had it on pre-order and so, it arrived at the start of October but sadly, I haven’t had enough time to set it up yet so I thought I would get started today with an unboxing.  I purchased the Personal sized Filofax from Speedy Hen to set up as my first Christmas Planner (so I should definitely get started on this soon!).  The Gold Saffiano has a classic leather-look cross grain effect, which I think is great because you get the leather effect but it’s not made of real leather and that’s perfect for me.  The Gold is such a beautiful colour and it really reminds me of Christmas, so I’m very excited about this planner right now!  Surprisingly, this is actually my first Filofax so I’m super excited to get to the unboxing and see what’s inside!
