Selfcare Bingo: With a stationery twist, it is bingo time!
Creative projects that challenge you can make everything much more fun, and what better way than to play some bingo with two of my favourite things – stationery and selfcare? If you are looking for a fun challenge to encourage you to add a little bit of selfcare into your weeks, continue reading for the first stationery selfcare bingo sheet and what each prompt actually means.
How do you Stationery Selfcare Bingo play?
You will find a bingo sheet with 16 prompts on this blog post – or over on Instagram. Each square features a different way to use your stationery, arts and craft supplies. There will be 16 squares total, broken down into 4 rows. Whether you do one square, aim to complete two rows or even go for the full sheet is up to you! I have kept it to 16 as this works out to approximately 2 a week if you want to complete the sheet in a month. However, you are more than welcome to do the same prompt multiple times if you prefer.
- Have a look at the sheet (download or screenshot it so you can keep it with you at all times!).
- Choose any prompt that you wish to do.
- Once you have completed it, cross it off the list! You can interpret the prompts as you want. This challenge is supposed to be fun, so enjoy it. Go as big as you want or keep it simple if you prefer. If you don’t have the supplies for a prompt but it inspires you to do something similar, then go for it! There is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ to this – it is about creating, not necessarily just completing.
- Why not set some rewards if you manage to complete it? They don’t have to be big, but you could easily do a small prize for every row you complete or for the full card. Perhaps a small budget to treat yourself to new stationery?
- Tag @stationeryselfcare and use #stationeryselfcare in your posts if you want it to be shared with others.
What are the prompts?
Every time, there will be a mix of different prompts to spark some creativity or give you different ideas on what you could do. Do as many as you want, in any order that you would like. Let’s have a look at the first bingo sheet! I have included what each prompt means, in case you are unsure of what to do for it but take it with a pinch of salt. If you are inspired to do something else, please do!

Row 1 –
Play with your stationery: Experiment and play with the supplies you already have. Use what you have to do something fun. This one is definitely up for interpretation so I would love to see what you come up with.
Create a selfcare tracker: Since we are talking about selfcare, why not make yourself a tracker to stay on top of it? You could add a selfcare tracker to your planner or journal if you do not have one already, or even have one stuck to your wall so you can see it at all times. It does not have to be stationery exclusive, you could add other important habits – like drinking water.
Art using only one pen/pencil: Sometimes, using lots of supplies can be overwhelming. You may not know where to start or overthink where to put that sticker, does it work with that washi tape and which pens should you use? For this prompt, limit yourself to just one tool and see if you can make something with just one pen or pencil. (If you want to use paint, you could limit yourself to a single pan/paint).
Recreate this bingo sheet on paper: Yes, you can totally print this off and stick it into your journal and that would count but if you want, you could also design your own version. Perhaps you do not like the colours I have chosen or you would prefer a different font? Either way, the idea is to have a physical copy that you can tick off.
Row 2 –
Write about something that went well today: This one is very simple. Somewhere, anywhere, write about at least one thing that went well today. You could write a couple of lines about it, or dedicate several A4 pages to it. Totally up to you.
Art with some sort of ink: Using some sort of ink (fountain pen ink, calligraphy ink, drawing ink, stamp ink, anything), create art.
Make a selfcare zine: A ‘zine’ is a small magazine – which you can even make with a single A4 piece of paper. Why not make a personal one that you can look back at when you need to based on selfcare and what it means to you or include some of your favourite activities in it!
Doodle for at least 5 minutes: Pretty self-explanatory, but grab a writing tool and doodle somewhere for a minimum of 5 minutes. Allow yourself time to just doodle.
Row 3 –
Letter to your future self: This is one of my favourite activities to do, but why not write a letter to yourself? You could date it for next year, in five years or even just after this challenge is finished.
Colour something in: Add colour to something – anything. It could be that doodle you did earlier, a colouring page you have (the Internet has a LOT of free pages if you need one!), or in that blank page in your notebook.
Use a journal prompt: Some journals come with prompts already but not all do. You could easily search the internet for some ideas (I will also be supplying some ideas myself) but grab a prompt that inspires you to write and write your answer.
Create a scrapbook page: This could be a junk journal entry in your journal or a full 12×12 scrapbook page. Whatever it is, just make some sort of college/scrapbook that captures something important to you.
Row 4 –
Paint, even if it’s messily: You could create a masterpiece but even if you are not a painter, use some paint to make something, anything. It could be a mess, but that is part of the fun. Any paint is applicable – if you have children, grab some of their paint and you can do this with them!
Declutter your mind page: Some days, my brain feels very overwhelmed and clouded. Writing down every single thought – no matter how random or irrelevant they are – can help declutter it. A recent journal page of mine turned from talking about a new pen to complaining about a company claiming they had delivered something when they hadn’t to writing my to-do list to what gifts I wanted to get for a friend. It is incoherent for sure but after, I felt much better. I was holding in all these random thoughts, trying not to forget the important stuff but once I had written it down, I could rest assured that it would be safe.
Sticky note a nice quote somewhere visible: Pick a quote you like or something inspirational/motivational and write it onto a sticky note. Then put it somewhere visible so you see it as you are getting ready for the day, working or even just walking past it.
Make a handmade card: Why not make a card (or postcard) for someone else? It could be for any occasion – perhaps you know someone who has a birthday coming up soon? Even if it is a “Just a Note” card, create something handmade.
Let’s Play Bingo!
With that, let us begin! Grab the bingo sheet, pick your first prompt and start creating. If you do get involved, leave a comment here and let me know! I would love to know it isn’t just me doing this all by myself.
